Yurlunggur Art specialises in Community Based Aboriginal Fine Art from the Central and Western Desert of Australia. Aboriginal art is the oldest continuing art tradition in the world, and even the most discerning buyer is sure to find an impressive piece of art, either for investment or just enjoyment. Yurlunggur Art is a private art gallery, but works in conjunction with the art centres so that the major proportion of the art sale is returned to the Aboriginal communities, in a way that assists in enabling the Aboriginal people achieve self-management. Our gallery promotes work from renowned artists who are represented in major public and private collections as well as works from outstanding emerging artists. All paintings are accompanied with authentic documentation from the relevant art community.

'Yurlunggur' is the great ancestral python who powered over the earth millions of years ago creating mountains, lakes, rivers and other terrestrial landforms along her pathway.
